MARTIN, Kevin William Francis Joseph
Age 75, of Lower Sackville, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Kevin was a son of the late Mildred and Daniel Martin of St. John’s, Newfoundland. After completing his education he became an accountant for many years, and eventually, Honorary Mayor of Sherwood Forest. Kevin will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 51 years, Lenora Martin (nee Browne) his loving children; son, Chris (Christina), daughters Cathy Hanlon (Jim) and Susan Fraser (Brent); cherished grandchildren, Meghan, Matthew, Amanda, Abigail, Casey, Hudson, and Declan; cherished great grandchildren Tomas and Jacob; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his sister Andrea Hudson and brother Danny. A special thank you to the paramedics as well as the nurses and doctors of the QEII for their care and compassion. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday December 20 at 1 p.m. at St. John Vianney Church, 4 Beaver Bank Rd.
