March 25, 1945 – June 16, 2017
Passed suddenly away at his cabin at Indian arm Pond, Kevin Joseph Fowler at the age of 72 years. He was predeceased by his parents Leo & Frances Fowler, brother David and sister-in-law Noel. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 49 years Barbara Fowler (Burke); sons: Ken Fowler (Jill) of Grand Prairie, AB., Bob (Natasha) of gander, NL., 3 grandchildren: Jackson, Reed, Chloe; sisters: Rosemary Van Bemmel (Arthur) of Spokane, WA., Bridget Anita Press (Robert) of Browns Mills, NJ., Angela Scott (Greg) of Grand Prairie, AB., Eileen Matchim Burlington, ONT., Paula Beaton (Brian) of Gander, NL., sister-in-law Matilda Bara of Vancouver, BC.; brothers-in-law George Burke (Irene) of Bishop Falls, NL., Ron Burke of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and a large circle of nieces and nephews. Kevin loved spending time at his cabin with the grand kids enjoying outdoor activities, Ice fishing, kayaking, swimming in the pool, watching Jackson & Reed play hockey and being at Chloe’s recital. Family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, 60 Roe Avenue, Gander on Monday June 19, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday June 20, 2017 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where cremation will take place. Funeral service will be held at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday June 21, 2017 at 2 p.m. officiated by Father William Hearn with interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Kevin’s memory may be made to the St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church.
