Death Notice
In the early morning of November 22, 2017, Kevin Douglas Bailey crossed the finish line. At the age of 59, his race has ended. Born August 6, 1958, Kevin was raised in Dealtown, Ontario. He is survived by his best friend and devoted partner Gwen Holbrook, his mother Jean (Paul); sisters Cindy (Wes), Denise (Terry) and Kim; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He is predeceased by his father Douglas Bailey. Kevin leaves behind that which gave him the most pride and joy in this world; his loving son Matthew. Kevin was a well-known auto body repairer and painter, as well as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist. His first love was cars, be it painting them or driving them. No one could recite more thorough and accurate details about muscle cars than Kevin. Kevin proudly pushed every limit, showing fierce determination and commitment to what he believed was right, rallying against what was wrong. He never backed down from a challenge.

Details regarding a celebration of Kevin’s life will be announced in the coming days.
