KIRKPATRICK, Kenneth L. – It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ken on Sat Nov 18, 2017 with his family by his side. Ken was in his 89th year. He has gone to join his wife the late Gwyneth (nee. Jones) of 60 years. Cherished father to Susan (Frank) Hawkins, Ruth Kirkpatrick (Albert Kruger) and Kathryn Kirkpatrick. Beloved Grandfather of Benjamin and Ethan, Lena (Chris) Mancini, Evan and Julian, and Aubrey, Reghann, Keenan and Ryan.
Ken will be fondly remembered by his nephew Dennis Jones. He will be sadly missed by his golfing buddies at Lookout Point Golf and Country Club.
Predeceased by his parents James and Annie and his many brothers and sisters.
Ken had an extremely successful career at John Deere Welland Works. He retired as Senior Product Engineer, holding 13 patents throughout his illustrious career.
In keeping with Ken’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME – 905-892-1699. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a Charity of your choice will be appreciated by his family.
