Obituary for Kenneth Elg
Ken Elg ~ unexpectedly at home, on Thursday, October 19, 2017, Kenneth August Elg of Listowel, in his 84th year.
Husband of the late Betty Elg. Father of Jean and Bruce Alexander of Listowel, Bill and Sherry Elg of Elmira, and Gail Peppler of Harriston.
Grandfather of Mike Alexander of Atwood, Sarah Alexander and Nate Smith, and Matt Alexander and Crystal Orth, all of Atwood, Tyler Elg, and Josie Elg, both of Elmira, and Steven Peppler and Aimee Bristowe, and Samantha Peppler and Donald Cudney, all of Harriston.
Great-grandfather of Kaden, Owen, Emma, Wynter, Autumn, Nevada, Natalie, Skylar, Alyssa, Sofia, Shayne, Karlee, and Carter.
Brother of Lillian and Larry Partridge of Bobcaygeon, Carl Elg of Monkton, Clarence Elg, and Bernetta and John Robinson, all of R.R.4, Listowel, Shirley and Irvin Strickert of Cranbrook, and Doris and Joe Runstedler of Linwood, and brother-in-law of Jean and Bill Williams of Monkland.
Always remembered by his ‘lady-friend’ Twyla Jacklin of Listowel, and her family.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel, on Tuesday, October 24th at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
Memorial donations to Listowel Hospital, Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
