COULSTRING, Kenneth Arthur
Of Waverley, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the age of 70. Ken is survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Cecilia, loving daughters Helen (Ralph MacDonald) and Donna (Arthur Edmonds); devoted grandchildren Thomas, Nicholas, Ellen, Shelley (Philip Landry), Rebecca and William; many siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family. A special thank you to Ken’s brothers, Maurice and Reg for all of their loving care and support, and neighbours Doug and Colleen for everything. Predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Marie Coulstring, sisters Norma and Donna.
Ken worked for Air Canada for over 34 years, he enjoyed his time there and made many friends with his fellow colleagues and he will be missed by his coffee buddies in Bedford. After retirement his greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren who were the light of his life. Thank you to all of the staff of the Continuing Care Program, QEII Emergency Department and Palliative Care Nurses, Dayna, Kim and Caitlyn; Drs. Snow and Best and the wonderful care of Dr. John McNab. A Gathering to Celebrate Ken’s Life will be held in the visitation suite of Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr. on Thursday, December 22 at 2 p.m. For those wishing, donations to the Diabetic Society, Lung Association and Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
