It is with sadness that the family of Kenneth Allan Dauphinee
announce his death on August 21, 2017 in Moncton, NB. Born on
September 1, 1925, he was the son of the late Allan and Vivian
(Fisher) Dauphinee and husband of the late Nancy (Wilson)
Dauphinee.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Katharine, Peter, and
Michele (Keenan Cannady) Dauphinee; grandchildren, William and
Alexander Dauphinee. Kenneth will also be missed by his nieces and
nephews.
In addition to his parents and late wife, Kenneth was
predeceased by his sister Beryl Spencer.
Kenneth served in the military from 1944-1945. He then
started in the steel and structural steel industry from 1951 to his
retirement in 1992. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but his lifelong
passion was sailing. Kenneth was a member of the Royal St. Lawrence
Yacht Club and he was the Commodore of the Mactaquac Sailing
Association. He was also a member of the St. Paul’s United
Church. Kenneth was a family man extraordinaire who will be missed by
his family.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on
August 24, 2017 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A memorial service will
be held at St. Paul’s United Church on Friday, August 25,
2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Michelle Armstrong officiating. Interment
will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 9:00 am in the Mactaquac
Cemetery. For those who wish, donation’s in
Kenneth’s memory can be made to the Moncton Hospital. Online
