Peacefully, with his family by his side after a long courageous battle of cancer on Friday, October 20, 2017, at age 66. Keith Hopkins, beloved husband of Bev (nee Beamish) for 45 years. Loving father of Aaron and Lindsay. Proud grandfather to Alex, Brianna, Ceili, Lucas, Aaliyah, Sophia, and Bentley. Loved by family and touched the hearts of many. Keith will be missed at MMM/WSP after 40 years of employment. A special thanks to Dr. Curtis Hadden and nurse Lauren on the Palliative Care Team. A celebration of Keith’s life will be held at the residence. Private interment Oakville Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery where he will be reunited with his parents and both sets of grandparents. Memorial donations in Keith’s honour are appreciated to the Hearth Place in Oshawa or Engineers Without Borders. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.waggfuneralhome.com

Sympathies message

  1. So sad to here of the loss of Keith.
    Heart felt condolences to Bev the children and all who knew Keith.
    I am remembering a warm and helpful friend, next door neighbor, life on Dawson Street and fellow engineering professional.
    Best memories of Keith are of visits to the Hopkins household, card games, great food and
    great company.
    Apologies for our absence from the service November 5th….it is Liz’s 70th birthday.
