It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kathleen White announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Care Centre on Sunday March 5, 2017 at the age of 72 years. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert White; birth parents Darius & Josephine Lane; sisters: Gertrude Croke, Theresa White; brother James Lane; brothers-in-law: James Brake, Harold Kean; adoptive parents of Sydney, N.S. Matthew & Johanna (Babe) Flood; adoptive brothers: Roy Flood, Jack Flood and Joseph Flood. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Calvin (Colleen) of Pasadena, NL., Claude of St. Brendan’s, NL., Glen (Dale) of Corner Brook, NL.; daughter Brenda (Gerald Aylward) of St. Brendan’s, NL., grandchildren: Rebecca, Cody, Nathan, Winter, Nikita, Matthew, Mackenzie, Brandon, Melissa, Diane, Gerald Jr.; great grandchildren: Kayden, Eric, Chase, Joshua, Rebecca, Christopher, Chloe, Alex, Amelia, Lucas, Olivia; brothers: Harold Lane of Gambo, NL., Douglas Lane (Neta); sisters: Mary Brake of Corner Brook, NL., Madelaine Kean of Gambo, NL., also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In keeping with Kathleen’s wishes cremation has taken place. Family will be receiving friends from the Roman Catholic Church, St. Brendan’s on Tuesday March 7, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. from where there will be a prayer service at 8:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 8, 2017 from the Roman Catholic Church, St. Brendan’s at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are accepted.
