Kathleen “Kay” Doherty
1920-2017
The death of Kathleen “Kay” May Doherty formerly of
Glassville occurred on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the Upper River
Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born February 10, 1920 in West Glassville
she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Sadie (Logue) Seymour. She
was also predeceased by her husband, Albert Doherty; 2 great
grandsons, Bryson and Trevor; 1 son in law, Eldon and 2 siblings, Mary
Quinn and James Seymour.
Kay is survived by her 3 children, Clarence Doherty, Peggy Manuel and
Claude Doherty (Vera); 6 grandchildren Pam McIsaac (Leigh), Kelly
Drake (Mark), Trent Manuel (Janelle), Tracey Sarchfield, Rhonda Pelkey
(Jeff) and Troy Doherty; 11 great grandchildren, Skene, Lane, Markus,
Kelsey, Logan, Landon, Aderianna, Sierra, Chad, Adam and Brianna; 5
great great grandchildren, Karley, Rowan, Brody, Hazen and Grady as
well as nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol, NB on Wednesday, September 6, 2017
from 12-2 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm. Interment will
be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Esdraelon. Donations made to Forest Hill
Cemetery, CNIB or DunRoamin would be appreciated.
