Passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with Alzheimer Disease on Wednesday January 25, 2017 in her 95th year. Kay, beloved wife of the late Crandle “Ken” Nelles for 52 years. Loving mother of Bruce Nelles (Brenda) of East Oro, Barbara Williams (Doug) of Victoria, BC, Marie Vivian-Wilson (Charlie) of Orillia, Cheryl Beckwith (John) of East Oro, Cindy Johnstone (Steve) of Cochrane, AB and Sylvia Nelles-Stark (fiance Rick) of East Oro. Cherished grandmother of Jeremy (Samantha), Brandon & Brett Nelles, Benjamin William (Laurel), Brad Williams (Jen), Heather & Mark (Maple) Vivian, Katrina Annunziello (Paul), Emily Kouyoumjian (Mac) and Stevie & Taylor Johnstone. Proud great grandmother of 6. Predeceased by her great grandson Casey. Daughter of the late Dugald & Etta Cowan. Predeceased by her brother Melville Cowan. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Saturday January 28, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. All members of the Orange Lodge are asked to gather on Saturday evening at 6:45. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Sunday January 29, 2017 at 2 PM. Spring Interment St. Mark’s Cemetery, East Oro. If desired, Memorial to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.mundellfuneralhome.com
