It is with heavy hearts we said goodbye to our mother, Katharine Orrange who passed away on Saturday December 16, 2017 surrounded by her family. Survived by daughters Ruth, Nancy, Christine (Marty) and five grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Jack (1968), sons Edward (1970), Robert (2004) (Ann) and daughter Patricia (1999)(Larry). Katharine was a member of the RTO, having taught 35 years. She was an active member of the London Bridge Club. Katharine wished to acknowledge her 3 daughters and son in law Marty for their endless TLC. The family would like to also thank the nurses and doctors of the palliative care team at Parkwood Hospital and LHSC for the care she received.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A private interment in St. Matthew’s Cemetery in Alvinston will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. Online condolences may be left at www.denning.ca.
Katharine leaves an Irish Blessing to her friends and family in Sarnia, London and particularly her bridge partners;
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
