Karen Lynn Burchill – September 19, 2017

It is with profound sadness the family of Karen Lynn Burchill, loving wife of 28 years to Patrick Burchill, announces her passing that occurred unexpectedly on Tuesday September 19, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1960 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late James and Lillian (Betts) Stewart. Karen was employed with Flewwelling Press for many years as a sales consultant. She enjoyed going for walks, playing darts, cooking and reading. Karen was devoted to her family and cherished every moment shared with them.
In addition to her husband Patrick, she is survived by her daughters Shyla and Kristy Wright both of Saint John; granddaughter Jenna Wright; siblings Helen (Ernest) Harrity of Saint John, Susan Stewart of Hong Kong, Stephen (Debbie) Stewart of St. Martins and Ron (Susan) Stewart of Saint John; chosen sister Cathy Sherman; mother-in-law Marie Burchill; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd where visitation will be held on Friday September 22, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday September 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. The family would appreciate donations to the charity of one’s choice.
There’s still time to send flowers to the Visitation at the Fundy Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on September 22, 2017.
