RIECK, June Lorraine (nee Busch) – after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Friday, November 17th, 2017 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Bernie (2009). Loving mother of Bill Rieck (Kirsten MacLeod) of Stratford; Bob Rieck and his wife Dale of London; and Brian Rieck and his wife Crystal of Delhi. Cherished nana of Joshua, Quinn, Matthew & Jonathan. Lovingly remembered by her brother Richard Busch (Luann) and by her brother-in-law James Taber. June is also survived by many nieces, nephews & extended family. Predeceased by her infant son Bernard Jr., a grandson Jonah, her sister Carole Taber & best friend Veronica Rieck. Friends are invited to share their memories of June with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Tuesday, November 21st, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. June’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Duldhardt officiating. Private interment of ashes at a later date. Those wishing to donate in June’s memory are asked to consider the Who Did It Club or the Norfolk General Hospital “Palliative Care Unit”.
