Obituary Overview
Forever In Our Hearts
On Friday, November 17, 2017 June Elizabeth White (Brunskill) passed away at the age of 90 years.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth; siblings Gordon, Edith, Jim, Jack, Wes and Doug; as well as her grandson Mike Slator.
June is survived by her loving husband of 71 years Harvey Claire; children Jim (Gloria), Bob (Ghee) and Shelley; grandchildren Jay, Dave, Corinne, Kim, Kurt, Kris, Sam, Nicole, Paolo, Zayed and Liz; as well as nine great grandchildren.
June was born on the family farm, south of Pense, SK. The youngest and last of the Brunskill clan of their generation.
June completed her schooling in Regina and married Harvey in 1946 to begin raising their family in Regina.
June loved to host family and friends at her home, the beach and the farm. Square dancing, oil painting, playing bridge and entertaining gave her much pleasure.
She so enjoyed her Mesa home and southern friends. She loved travelling with her young family and in later years with Harve.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Junes Legacy will be remembered as a strong, kind, generous, companionate woman with a real zest for life.
She will be greatly missed but leaves behind many cherished memories. The family of June would like to thank the staff at the Sunset Nursing Home for all their love and care given.
A CELEBRATION OF JUNE’S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
In Lieu of flowers donations in memory of June may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301, 2550 – 12 Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
