MacGregor, Julienne (née Rochon) 1920-2017
It is with deep sadness that the family announces her passing at Au Château, Sturgeon Falls on October 8th, 2017 at the age of 97 years. Daughter of the late J.W. Rochon and the late Hénédine Lortie. Loving wife of the late Chester MacGregor. Cherished mother to Robert of Spanish, Louise Courchesne (late Paul) partner (Gerry Bois) and Denis (Linda Robineau) both of Sturgeon Falls. Grandmaman to her two precious grandchildren Renée (André Rivet) and T.J. (Lynn O’Neil). Great Grandmaman to Cloée, Charles, Joël and Émilie. Dear sister to Claire Blais and Thérèse Paiement both of Ottawa. Predeceased by three sisters Cécile, Rolande and Jeanine and four brothers Gaëtan, Marcel, Laurent and Rhéal. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mom was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, a nurse and a business woman. She loved life. She enjoyed many years at her cottage on Lake Nipissing. She was a great cook and enjoyed receiving family and friends. Mom was also a beautiful knitter at which she spent many hours in her retirement years. She was also a dedicated volunteer with the West Nipissing General Hospital Women’s Auxiliary. The family will receive friends at the Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Thursday October 12th 2017, after 10:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
