Obituary of Judith “Judy” McKessock
Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at Chapman House in Owen Sound, on Friday afternoon, August 11th, 2017. Judith Suzanne McKessock (nee Cherry), of Bognor, at the age of 66 years. Dearly loved wife and best friend of John McKessock for 47 years. Loving mother of Melissa McEwen and her husband, Colin, of Owen Sound and very proud grandmother of Emmitt McEwen. Dear sister of Marilyn Caudle (Jim), of Fergus, Tom Quinton (Sandy), of Schreiber, Richard Quinton (Earla), of Orangeville and sister-in-law of Ken Parker (Jan), of Owen Sound and Murray Stahlbaum, of Holland Centre. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Mildred Cherry; her very special uncle and aunt, Emmerson and Eva Quinton; her siblings, Glenn Cherry, Gordon Cherry (Marion), Ronnie Cherry, Doug Cherry, Maxine Stewart (Sandy), Margaret Parker and Heather Stahlbaum.
Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Monday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Private Family Service for Judy McKessock will be held at the Massie United Church, 823999 Massie Road, Massie, Ontario, on Tuesday morning, August 15th, 2017 with Pastor Kara McCluskie officiating. Private interment in Markdale Cemetery. All friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Judy at Cobble Beach at 2:00 p.m. following the Private Service and Committal. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Chapman House, Quota International of Owen Sound and the Massie United Church as an expression of sympathy.
