Judith Campbell
Judith Campbell (nee Kopperud) passed away at her residence in Sunrise Gardens in Brooks on Friday, May 26, 2017, less than 3 months away from her 100th birthday.
Known lovingly by many as Judy and Grandma Judy, she was predeceased by all her siblings, her first husband Gary Kopperud of Brooks, and her second husband Archie Campbell of Regina. She leaves behind her only son, Mervin (Kathy) Kopperud of Medicine Hat, and grandson, Colman Kopperud of Calgary.
Judith packed a great number of experiences in her 100 years, living with no electricity in her childhood to the instant phone photos and videos today – much to her amazement! She was a hard worker, loved her church, and everyone was her friend. There was always time for a cup of good black coffee and something sweet when chatting with friends. Recent years became difficult with dementia and mobility issues, and her caregivers became her new friends.
Judith’s family celebrates her life with great memories as they hold a private interment in Brooks Cemetery. Flowers are graciously declined.
