Obituary of J.T. “Jack” Goodall
Beloved husband of Ann (Mulvey) Goodall of Wingham. Cherished father of Lori Wilder (Todd Wainwright) of Owen Sound, Peter Goodall of Owen Sound and Jason & Connie Goodall of Wingham. Dear grandfather of Preston and Haley Wilder, and Jackson, Blake, Eden, Rianna, Danae and Camryn Goodall. Brother-in-law of Sadie Watson of Elora, Bob & Carol Mulvey of Guelph and Linda Sinclair, Anne Mulvey and Shirley Mulvey all of Fergus. Predeceased by his parents Frank & Renna (Turner) Goodall, brother Ron Goodall (Helen), sister Frances Trimble (Duncan), and brothers-in-law Jack Mulvey, Jim Mulvey, David Sinclair and Don Watson.
Jack graduated from the University of Guelph in 1955 and in 1959 graduated from Osgoode Hall. He practiced with Wilson & Jack Law Firm in Fergus and in 1961 purchased his law practice in Wingham. He was a former member of the 21st Field Regiment and a former chairman of the Wingham Hospital Board as well as the Wingham Golf & Curling Club Board. Jack was conferred as a 33° Mason in September 1989. He was the past master of Wingham Lodge #286 AF & AM. He was also a past first principal of Lebanon chapter #84 R.A.M. and Most Wise Sovereign of Huronia Conclave #17, as well as a member of the Hamilton Consistory and Mocha Shrine Club.
Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Tuesday, from 4:00pm until the time of the Masonic Lodge Service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Wingham United Church on Wednesday at 1:00 pm. Reverend Richard D. Hall officiating. Interment will take place in the spring in Wingham Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Wingham United Church or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
