Peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, with her family by her
side on June 9, 2017, Joyce Myrtle Coulton, wife of Albert Frazer
Coulton of L’Etang NB, went home to be with the Lord. Born on April
11, 1942 in St. Stephen NB, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother
and sister. In addition to her husband Albert, she is survived by one
daughter: Christine (Wayne) Patterson of Pennfield NB; two sons: Gary
of St. Stephen NB and David of L’Etang; one grandson: Dennis Patterson
of Pennfield NB; one sister: Eleanor (Ronelle) Moreau of Montreal QC,
two brothers: George (Fern) Mitchell of Riverview NB and Lewis (Lori)
Mitchell of Tower Hill NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her mother, Dora Abby (Kaglar) Mitchell and Ronald Micthell,
Joyce was predeceased by her son: Roger; two brothers: Gerald Mitchell
and Sidney Mitchell.
Prior to retirement Joyce worked at Connor’s Bros. Ltd. She loved her
family and extended family and loved to have them over for meals, or
have them simply stop in for a cup of tea. She always went above and
beyond on birthdays and other celebrations for her children, grandson
and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The more people at her house,
the happier she was.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26
Portage Street, St. George NB. A memorial celebration of Joyce’s life
will be held at a later date. Donations in Joyce’s memory can be made
