Joyce passed away peacefully at the Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Born in Stratford, Ontario, on January 19, 1947, Joyce Arlene Hugill (nee Rock) of Seaforth, was in her 70th year.
Beloved wife of Wayne Hugill. Loving mother of Jennifer Hugill (David Bach), Jodie Kerr (Mike) and Harold (Amy). Cherished Grandma of Samantha, Sara and Justin Kerr, Grace Bach, and Millicent and Barnaby Hugill. Dear sister of Ray and Dot Rock, Gary and Heather Rock, Sharon and Allen Schenk, Judy and Bill McLean, David and Kathleen Rock, Doug Rock, and sister-in-law of Lori Rock, Douglas Hugill (Anne) and Sandra Johnson (Bob Down). Joyce will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Harold and Florence Rock, brother Robert Rock and nephew Dallas Rock.
Visitation will be held at the Seaforth & District Community Centre, 122 Duke St., Seaforth, on Thursday, January 12, 2017, from 11 a.m. until the time of Joyce’s Celebration of Life Service at 2 p.m. A reception will immediately follow and spring interment will take place in Maitland Bank Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Maitland Bank Cemetery, St. Peters Lutheran Church Cemetery or the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated and can be made through McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.
