Peacefully at the Osgoode Care Centre on Saturday February 4, 2017 Joyce Cherry (Stanley) at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Maynard Cherry (2001). Loving mother of Don (Mary) of Erin, On. Doug (Donna) of Kingston, On. Beverley (Chris Jackson) of Fox Island, Washington, Bruce (Bonnie) of Russell, On. and Stephen (Paula) of Arnprior, On. Proud grandma of Janice, Heather, Mark, Laura, Allison, Stephen, Megan, Brady, Stephanie, Jeff, Chad and great-grandma to Mackenzie, Daniel, Erin, Anna and Bridget. Survived by her brother Art (Ruth) and sister Ruby and sister in law Vera. Predeceased by Ken (Helen), Howard (Annalea), Don and Phyllis (Keith Mitchell). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Joyce’s family would like to especially thank the wonderful staff at the Osgoode Care Centre for their excellent and loving care. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, (6971 Bank Street between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 7-9 pm on Wednesday and on Thursday from 10-10:45 am. Memorial Service to follow in the chapel at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Osgoode Care Centre, 7560 Snake Island Rd. Metcalfe, On. K0A 2P0 would be appreciated.
