Kraftchic, Josephine Mary (nee
Farrell) January 15, 1925 – January 3, 2017
A long-time resident of Vancouver, Josephine passed away
peacefully at Brock Fahrni Pavilion where she had resided since 2004.
Josephine was born in Antigonish, daughter of the late A. Leo and
Catherine (Chisholm) Farrell. She was predeceased by her husband
Bronis Kraftchic, her brothers Archibald and Finley Farrell, and
sisters Cecilia Sanford and Delores Hall. She is survived by her
sisters Leola Farrell and Gloria Delaney as well as numerous members
of the Kraftchic family in Ontario and the Farrell family in Nova
Scotia. Catholic funeral service to be held at St. Ninian’s
Cathedral, Antigonish, on Tuesday July 25, 2017 at 11:00 am Rev.
Donald MacGillivray presiding. Burial of ashes in the parish
cemetery.
