Bathurst – Joseph Henry, 58, of Monroe
St., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday July 1, 2017 at the Chaleur
Regional Hospital,
Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of
the late Bazil and Leona (Daigle)
Henry.
Joseph sold the Northern Light for
many years at the Tim Horton’s location on St. Peter
Ave.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Rose
Marie (Chamberlain) Henry and is survived by two brothers:
Oliver (Brenda) and
Lawrence (Cathy) both of Springton,
P.E.I.
Four sisters:
Mary Legacy (Leo) of Petit Rocher,
Eileen Lavigne (Herbert) and
Carolina
Henry (Jean-Claude Chiasson) both of Bathurst and
Robina Legacy (Alvin) of Ste
Anne’s.
His friend, Yvette Gauthier of
Bathurst and several nieces and
nephews.
There will be no visitation at the
Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated
Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave.,
Bathurst. Donations in memory of Joseph may be made to a
charity of the donors choice. Arrangements are in the care
of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com),
Bathurst.
