Joseph Collins
With heavy hearts, the family announce that Joseph
“Joe” Collins, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday,
March 19, 2017 at the age of 67. Born in Saint John, he was the son of
Pauline O’Hara and the late Joseph Collins.
Joe was a well-known artist, teacher and appraiser of fine
art. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 32
years, Jeanne (Barker) Collins; his son, Jessy Collins of Moncton;
three grandchildren; brothers, Mike, Mark, John, Geoff and Sean
(Saki), all of BC; sisters, Laura of Calgary, AB and Carolann of BC;
several nieces and nephews.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass
will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 12:00 pm from St.
Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, 340 Dominion St., with
Rev. Laurence Quin-Morris presiding. Reception to follow. Interment
will be held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
