Joseph Bannister
1936-2017
Joseph Alvin Bannister, 81, of Salisbury passed
away Thursday June 22, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in
Petitcodiac he was a son of Ethel (Hicks) Bannister and the late
Harold Bannister. Joe retired from the blacksmith shops of C.N.R. and
enjoyed his time spent in the woods, hunting and
fishing.
Survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife of
52 years Judy (Shay), mother Ethel (Hicks), Moncton; children Julie,
Salisbury, Janet (Terry), River Glade, David (Angela), Salisbury,
Joanne (Derrick), River Glade; grandchildren Emma, Jessica, Trinity,
Meghan, Katie, Kaitlyenn, Brooklyn, Christopher, Adam; sister Bernice
Gray; brothers George, Eldon, Arthur as well as several nieces and
nephews. Predeceased by brothers John, Clarence, and
James.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home 3350 Rte 106
(372-4800) from where there will be visitation Sunday June 25th from
6-8pm and Funeral Monday June 26th at 11am with Rev. John Holt
officiating. Internment at the Maplewood Cemetery,
Petitcodiac.

CNIB would be greatly appreciated by the family.
