SHEDLOWICH, JOHN: At home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 19, 2017 in his 98th year. Loving husband of the late Phyllis (2008). Dear father of Anna (Robert) Wilson, Susan Greer (the late Kenneth), Maryann (Cyril) Volney, Richard (Wanda), Robert (Sandi) and Lori Ellen Shedlowich (JD). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Troy Shedlowich (Rina), Kenneth Greer, Timothy Wilson (Lyndsay), Patrick Wilson, CJ Volney, Alexander Volney, Robyn Shedlowich, Johnathan and Jamieson Rolph. He is survived by his brother Frank Shedlowich.
John was a WWII veteran and belonged to the Irish Regiment of Canada, an avid baseball player, known as Fireball.
As expressions of sympathy, donation to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family.
