Dr. John Ferguson, of Pointe Claire (formerly Beaconsfield), Quebec, died on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the West Island Palliative Care Residence. He was born on January 15, 1927 in Huntingdon, Quebec. He graduated in 1953 from the McGill Faculty of Medicine. In 1955 he married Flora Ellen Clinton, and together they had 6 children, Ellen (John), Heather, Munroe (Le-Anne), Carol (Rob), Linda and Debbie (James). He practiced general surgery for nearly 40 years, with 30 years at the Lakeshore General Hospital and retired in 1996.
