It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Esterer on February 20, 2017 at the age of 88 years.
George will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Ann; sons, Mark (Shauna), Jay and Brent (Joceylene); grandsons, Brandon and Jason; sister, Hedwig; extended family in Austria; as well as numerous in-laws, loving nieces and nephews.
George was an entrepreneur and a respected business person. In 1966 he developed Endura Paint Manufacturing in Edmonton and took pride in celebrating Endura’s 50th anniversary last June. His kind, generous nature and unconditional love will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
A special thank you to the caring and compassionate staff at Foyer Lacombe Hospice in St. Albert during the last weeks of George’s illness.
A Celebration of George’s Life will be held Friday, June 2 at 3:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
