Joe ‘Jose’ Jacinto Saeta Jr.
(Resident of Ottawa, formerly of Coboconk, Ontario).
In loving memory of Jose (Joe) Jacinto Saeta Jr. born January 18th, 1928 in Villa Franca do Campo (Sao Miguel), Portugal to Jose Jacinto Saeta and Antonia de Jesus Couto. He was a proud and caring Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Uncle, Grandfather, Great-grandfather; and perhaps most memorably a Gardener. He passed away Sunday July 30th, 2017 peacefully listening to the Portuguese mass with his Wife and Daughter. Kind and strong, he was a caring, proud, and determined man. Immigrating to Canada in 1957, he and his wife raised their two daughters in Mississauga and Coboconk, and later moved to Ottawa for his last two years. He will be reunited with those who predeceased him, including his daughter (Mary), his parents and four siblings. He will be greatly missed by his wife Maria, his daughter Fatima, his son-in-law Lucio, his grandchildren Mike, Katie, Chris, and Cassandra, his great-grandchildren Jonathan and Taya, and his nephew Carlos. He will never be forgotten and will be with us in memory and spirit always.
Visitation, Mass Of Christian Burial & Reception
Joe’s family will receive friends at the COBOCONK COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 6644 Hwy. #35, Coboconk, Ontario (705) 454-3913 on Friday evening, August 4, 2017 from 6 p.m until 9 p.m. Then to ST. MARGARET MARY ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH 42 Grandy Road, Coboconk, Ontario on Saturday morning, August 5, 2017 for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 o’clock. Interment Coboconk Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Coboconk Lions Hall. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
