Joe Howlett

HOWLETT JOSEPH M. – It is with deep sadness that his family
announce his unexpected passing on Monday , July 10th, 2017; Joseph
Michael Howlett “Joe”; husband of Darlene (Brown) Howlett,
of Campobello, NB. Born in Lunenburg, NS; he is the son of the late
Jim & Jean (Slauenwhite) Howlett.
A longtime resident of the island Joe worked worked as a commercial
fisherman with a passion for the sea.
Surviving in addition to his wife Darlene is his son Chad ,
grandchild Mason, son Tyler, grandchildren Haylee & Rylan,
brother in law Richard Brown (Lori), sister in law Kathy Brown (John)
all of Campobello, nieces, nephews, Treigh, Jarvis, Christopher,
Chase, mother & father in law Brenda & Manley Brown.
Joe is also survived by a large family of siblings: brothers,
Vernon (Elaine) Enfield, Doug, Aurora ON, Tony (Cosette) Chester.
Sister: Mary Ellen (David) Lonergan, Berwick. Sister-in-law Marilyn.
Nieces and nephews: Pamela & Jennifer, Christie, Andrew &
Ryan, Jimmy, Bailey & Reagan.
Joe was predeceased by his brother David.
Resting at Wilsons Beach United Baptist Church, where the funeral
service in celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July
15th, 2017 at 2:00 pm. There will be no visitation. In lieu of
flowers, donations in Joe’s memory can be made to the Wilsons
Beach Baptist Church Fund, Edith Lank Camp, Campobello or please share
a random act of kindness with someone.
