In Loving Memory…
JoAnne Hussey (née Chauvin)
On November 8th, 2017 JoAnne was called home. Peacefully she went into the loving arms of our Lord, at the age of 57 surrounded by her loving family. Devoted daughter of Annette Chauvin and the late Art Chauvin (2011). Loving and faithful wife of Bill Ferber. Amazing and devoted mother of Jessica and Justin Thompson. Loving Sister to Mike Chauvin and his wife Lisa. Daughter in law to John and Maria Ferber, sister in law to Annette and Kevin Pillon, John and Sandy Ferber, Aggie and Ken Krizan, Abbie Ferber and Ben and Motsie Ferber. JoAnne will be missed dearly by many nieces and nephews especially Ashley, Marissa, Shayla, Joshua and Sophia. She will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and all her friends she has met along the way. JoAnne was a selfless woman who always cared and loved everyone she met. She was the owner of Desert Strands Hair Salon in Belle River and took great passion in her work. She enjoyed many summers on her boat fishing and watching the dragonflies land on her line and at her camper at The Ponds in Leamington. She loved all her animals, big and small. She will be dearly missed by all who met her. A special Thank You to Dr. Dasilva and the team at Hospice of Windsor. Visitation will be held at Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame Street, Belle River (519-728-1500) on Friday, November 10th from 2-5 and 7-9 pm with parish prayers at 8:30pm. Friends are invited to gather at St. Simon and St. Jude Parish, 488 St. Charles Street on Saturday, November 11th for a funeral mass at 11 am. Burial at St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to The Hospice of Windsor would be greatly appreciated by the family.
