Obituary of Joan McLaughlin
McLAUGHLIN, Joan Chipman (nee Greey)
April 14, 1932 – November 20, 2017
Peacefully died in the comfort of her home. Daughter of the late Dr. Philip and Mary Greey and sister of the late Phil Greey. Joan was the loved mother of Ann Williams (Jon) and Elizabeth Phibbs (Ian). Her grandsons Phillip, David and Colin were her joy. Joan was caring, kind and always thinking of others before herself. She will be missed by all of us. Joan was proud and appreciative of being a Canadian. In her words “I was a volunteer all my life. My children Ann and Elizabeth and my grandsons Phillip, David and Colin I adored. All the above made my life happy and worthwhile and so too did my many dogs add to the fun.” There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
