Obituary of Joan Falcioni
FALCIONI- Joan Isabelle (nee Foley) of Port Colborne passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Gilmore Lodge in Fort Erie on Monday, October 16, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of Ramo Falcioni for 65 years, loving mother of Sheila (Doug) Brown, Sue Ellen (Kevin MacMillan) Robison, Randy (Pat) Falcioni, Joe (Melissa) Falcioni and Laurie (Ron) Crews, loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, sister of Aubrey (Rebecca) Foley, sister-in-law of Mondie (John) Tudan, Joy Foley and Ron Vollick. She will be sadly missed by her dear friends Jan Fuaco and Helen Clarke. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by her parents Rufus and Jennie Foley, her brother John Foley her sister Marie Vollick and her brother-in-law Mandy Falcioni. Joan was a long-standing member of St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church and the CWL for 47 years. She was famous for her baking, loved watching the Toronto Blue Jays and looking after her family. The Falcioni family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Wednesday October 18, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Peter Walton officiating. Rite of Committal will follow at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to St. John Bosco Building Fund or Gilmore Lodge.
