Joan Anita Miller of Mission BC passed away on February 2, 2017 at the age of 88 years with her family at her side. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Newfield of Calgary, 3 children Tanice (Kirk), Pamela (Will) and David (Wendy) and 3 grandchildren Amy (Chris), Benjamin and Nicholas. She was predeceased by her husband Dr Telford Miller in 2012, her father Elmer Peacock in 1971, mother Mildred Peacock (nee Dowker) in 1976 and brother Murray Peacock in 2005. Joan was born on December 13th 1928 in Boissevain, Manitoba. She was the second of 3 children born to Elmer and Mildred Peacock and the third generation on the Peacock farm. …
