Passed away at Country Village Healthcare Center with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Bill (2011). Loving mother of Ruth Adams, Gail Adams and Bryan Adams, and grandmother of Eddy Adams. Predeceased by her parents Pearl and Fred Fowler of Port Elgin, and her brothers Don and Ross Fowler.
A longtime resident of Amherstburg, Joan worked for many years at the A&P Deli Counter and enjoyed singing in the church choirs.
Visiting will take place at James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral in the Chapel on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
