Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. L. A. Miller Centre on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 after a lengthy battle with cancer, Ted Dawe age 59 years. Predeceased by his father Edgar Bishop (Ted) Dawe, father-in-law William Yetman and mother-in-law Marjorie Yetman. Leaving to mourn his wife of 33 years Sandy and his daughters Melissa and Melanie, mother Olive Anne Dawe, sisters Donna Norman and Zena (Greg) Morgan, brother Tony Dawe (Andrea Kelland), brother-in-law Bill Yetman (Gloria), special nieces Amy and Ashley and their mom Shelly Power, nieces and nephews Lesley, Stephen, Andrew, Jennifer, Erica, Samantha and James, great nieces and nephews Alexandria, Hayley, Spencer, Cameron and Dylan, as well as a large circle of family and friends, including his three bed buddies Brandy, Tanner and Belle. A special thank you to the staff of 7 East at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for the care provided during his time there, and to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit, LAMC for taking care of our husband and father during his final days. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
