Peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Saturday, February 18th, 2017. Jeannie Scott Kane (nee Auld), of Paisley, at the age of 80 years. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Wally Kane for 61 years. Loving mother of Susan Kerr (Dan), of Paisley, Sara-Jane Sorbilli (Vince), of Oshawa, Scott Kane (Lynn), of Dundas and mother-in-law of Darlene Kane, of Sauble Beach. Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Marion Caldwell, of Norwich, David Auld, of Lindsay and Jim Auld, of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Mildred Auld; her son, Steven Kane; her granddaughter, Lindsay Kane; her sisters, Barbara McMaster and Patricia Clark; her brothers-in-law, Bob McMaster and Brian Clark.
A Memorial Service for Jeannie Kane has already been held at the Port Elgin Missionary Church. Interment in Stark Vale Cemetery, Paisley. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Port Elgin Missionary Church or the Salvation Army in Port Elgin as an expression of sympathy and may be made through the BRIAN E.
