Jeanie Love Campbell (MacGillivray) – July 30, 1924 – February 11, 2017 (age 92)

Jeanie Love Campbell, formerly of Red Deer and now of Ponoka, passed away on February 11, 2017. Jean was born in Scotland on July 30, 1924. She came to Canada as a Scottish War Bride in 1946. She is survived by three sons: Frank of Red Deer, Denis of Spruce Grove and James of Spruce Grove; three daughters: Sandra (Bill) Reed of Boyle, Cheryl (Ron) Deetjere of Lacombe and Cindy (Bob) Sorensen of Ponoka; 14 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; as well as one niece and three nephews in Great Britain. She was predeceased by her husband Lorne in 2006, son Bob in 1978, great-granddaughter Kaitlin in 2016, her parents Jane and James MacGillivray, one sister Sarah and three brothers all in Great Britain. A Funeral Service will be held at Sunnybrook United Church, 12 Stanton Street, Red Deer on Saturday, February 18, 2017 with the Interment Service following at Alto-Reste Cemetery. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or The Salvation Army.
