Jeanette Marie Malone – (May 28, 1951 – September 3, 2017)

MALONE, Jeanette – Passed peacefully away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer, Jeanette Malone “Bid”, aged 66 years. Jeanette’s love of life, unwavering faith, and ability to smile throughout her illness enabled her to defy many odds. Predeceased by her parents Gus and Pauline Malone, brother Derm and 2 infant brothers. Jeanette will be forever missed by twin sister, Mary, with whom she resided; sisters Joan Fleming (Pat, deceased) and Bernadette Cooze (Glen); brothers Jim (Helen), Gus (Agnes) and Phil (Catherine, deceased); aunt Mary Hannaford; and a large number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. In addition to the help and support of many family and friends, special thanks to Elizabeth Murphy Smith for your many home visits; Carmel Collins and the Palliative Care Team; as well to Bernard Duggan who graciously provided support and transportation throughout Jeanette’s illness. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 7–9 pm and on Wednesday from 10am-9pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 9:30am from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist with interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Jeanette’s memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
