Peacefully at the Amica at Barrie on Saturday, April 22, 2017.
Jean Katherine Metcalfe at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife to Keith Holland Metcalfe of Barrie formerly of Torrance and Toronto. Beloved mother to Janice (Thomas) Witty of Oro-Medonte.
Nancy (William) Gregor of Severn and Maureen (Andres) Tamm of Pickering. Jean was predeceased by her siblings; Beryl O’Falherty and Bert Scott. Much loved grandmother to Keith (Shauna) Gregor of Vancouver, Sabrina (Ryan) Gregor – Hirschmann of Edmonton, Anneli Tamm and Krista Tamm both of Pickering, Scott Craig of Barrie and Andrea (Wayne) Witty-Williams of Aurora and Michael Witty of Aurora. Great grandmother to Jenna Craig, Taya Hirschmann and Serena Williams. Jean will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate the life of Jean Katherine Metcalfe will be held in the near future. Date, time and location will be announced once all arrangements have been completed.
