Obituary for Jean (Gene) Norman Brusven
Gene Norman Brusven passed away unexpectedly Tuesday September 12, 2017 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, ON at the age of 74.
Gene was born October 2, 1942 to Norman and Bonnie Brusven (nee Galusha). He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Lois Mary Brusven (nee Angus) on July 15, 1963. Gene enjoyed hunting, fishing and time spent with friends. Left to mourn his loss are his sons Doug (Sharon) and Dan (Carol).
Sisters; Judy (Peter) Borger, Linda Haney, Gwen (Bob) Dimit, Debbie (Joe) Schlichter, Brenda (Larry) Hunsperger and his brother Don (Kathy) Brusven. Grandchildren Melissa (Travis), Jennifer (Kevin), Tyler, Kendra and Cedar. Great Grandchildren; Jaxon, Kailyn, Peyton, Tyson, Dylan, Teara and JeyCee; Along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was predeceased by his parents; Norman and Bonnie Brusven; His wife Lois and his brother Jack. There will be a private family gathering at a later date. In memoriam donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
