Jean (Dickenson) Clark - September 10

Jean (Dickenson) Clark – September 10, 1946 – March 22, 2017 (age 70)

JEAN CLARK
(1946-2017)
It is great heartache that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Jean Clark of Coleman, Alberta who fought valiantly against illness but was called into the arms our Lord on March 22, 2017 while receiving compassionate care at the Crowsnest Pass Hospital. She graced this world with 70 years of life.
Jean was born on September 10, 1946 in Liverpool, England to parents, Richard and Doris Dickenson. In her younger days, she found her courage and determination. Jean braved the male dominated workforce and found a job on the docks. She loved to ride her motorbike down the streets and even found time to take in a concert by some less known artists at the time, the Beatles. Jean was always dynamic and adventurous in spirit. She was blessed with a family of four devoted children whom she cherished and her joy was complete with the coming of her grandchildren.
Jean had several other passions and talents. She loved classical music and spent much time playing the piano and listening to the compositions of Andre Boticelli. She enjoyed musicals and the theatre, reading and listening to a good book with a feline friend curled up beside her, gardening and the limitless talents of Captain James T. Kirk of the starship Enterprise.
She always made time for her family and friends even into the late hours of the morning. Laughter rang throughout our house from her colorful, although not always politically correct, sense of humour. She will always be remembered for her incredible resolve, dedication to her family, hard work ethic and the unconditional love she gave us all. Jean will remain forever in our heart.
She is survived by her children, Ian (Lena) Clark of DeWinton, Phil Clark of Calgary, Christine (Troy) Misseghers of Coleman and Jonathan Clark of Edmonton; her grandchildren, Aiden and Rachel; her sisters, Maureen Dickenson and Patricia Weir of England; her extended family and dear friends, especially Lyn Chegwin of England.
She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Doris Dickenson.
