Joseph Jean Baptiste Chagnon (Di La Rose)
Joseph Jean Baptiste Chagnon, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 94 years.
Jean was born June 25, 1922 in Saint-Dominique de Bagot, QC. He was the oldest son of Arthur and Florest Chagnon.
He arrived in Grande Prairie in early 1950. He continued to love and live in Grande Prairie and eventually retired there.
Jean is survived by his wife Evelyn; grandchildren: David, Michelle, Pamela, Debra, Mona, Karen-Lynne, Eric, and Nicole; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father, mother, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at 11:00am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke of Alberta (Unit 109, 10126 120 Ave, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 8H9).
