Jason passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on the 22nd day of June, 2017 with his loving wife Crystal and his children at his side. He leaves behind his cherished wife of 23 years Crystal and sons; Child, Shay (Teickwa), Mark and Jason, his daughters; Sharlee and Malina, his special grand daughter Hayzen whom he really cherished. Also his loving parents Mina and Carl, his father in law Creighton Fox, his mothers in law; Sandra Baptiste, Florence (Gilbert) and Dixie (Tater), and his adopted… parents Larry and Lydia Daniels, his brothers in law; Ace (Bernadine), Jerome (Sheryl), Kash (Navee) and Colin (Marcella), his brothers and sisters; Gerald (Laura), Bob (Brenda) Tony Joe, Irene, Ethel, Dionna and Debbie Dixon, sister Jade Chiniguay, Aunties; Eileen, Elvina (Stuart), Nancy, Elanor Daniels and Cheryl Daniels, Uncles; Keith (Jamie), Clifford Belcourt, Mark (Francis) and Myron (Diane). As well as his special nephews, nieces, cousins and friends from the Lefthand, Daniels, Mark, Holloway, Poucette, Dixon, Amos, Baptiste, Wildman, Watchworth and Fox families, nieces, friends and cousins too numerous to name whom he loved and special friends Larry Jr and Troy Kootenay. We apologize if we have missed anyone. Jason was a compassionate and humble man who beleived in the Stoney traditional way of life. He greeted people with a smile and a handshake. He participated in Sundances, played hockey and danced as a Grass Dancer throughout the United States. He contributed a lot to his community of Eden Valley, Longview and surrounding area. He also went on many trips to the United States, he was a competitive dancer who won many Pow – Wow competitions thoughout his life and made many friends. Jason was educated in Longview and at Bow Valley College. He worked as a security guard and mailman for the Eden Valley Community. Jason was predeceased by his brother Robert in 1981, paternal grandparents Mark and Mary Lefthand and maternal grandparents Douglas and Beatrice Poucette and Reba Baptiste.
