September 6, 1958 – April 23, 2017
After a courageous battle of three years while resting peacefully with her family by her side at the Thessalon Hospital on Sunday April 23, 2017. Janet Tallon, beloved wife of Perry Tallon for 41 years. Loving mother of Stacy Cooke ( Jody ), Ryan Tallon ( Erin ) and Lindsay Tallon ( Roberta ). Special Grandma to Brett, Dylan, Ethan and Emery Faye. Dear daughter of Doris Crockford ( Late Earl ). Dear sister of Karen Morgan ( Ralph ), Glen Crockford ( Jess ), Darrell Crockford ( Bev ), Marlene Shaughnessy ( Brian ), Jody Yusko ( Joel ) and the late Gary Crockford. Dear daughter-in-law of the late Russell and Edith Tallon. Dear sister-in-law of Ted Tallon ( Sherrill ), Ruth Stotesbury ( Dave ) Susan Lachance ( John ), Kirk Tallon ( Evelyn ), T.M. Tallon ( Tammy ), George Tallon and the late Janice Shisler. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Janet was an avid curler and golfer who was passionate about her family and friends. She enjoyed her time at camp surrounded by family and friends. Janet was also active with the local cancer society. Friends may call at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon on Wednesday April 26, 2017 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service at the Thessalon Bible Chapel on Thursday April 27, 2017 at 11am with Charlie Martin officiating. Donations to the Cancer Society gratefully accepted.
