Passed peacefully March 26, 2017 at Extendicare Lakefield. Jane (also known as Jean) came to Canada from Scotland in 1923 when she was 5 yrs old with her parents John and Janet Campbell. Jane’s family with her four brothers (John, Glen, David and Colin) made Montreal (Verdun) their home for the next 50 plus years. Jane worked at Northern Electric and Montreal General Hospital and participated in church choirs (Verdun/Crawford Park United) and local plays, always enjoying her moment to shine. Jane spent her retirement years getting back to the land near Alexandria, ON continuing to seek out opportunities to share her vocal talents. She will be dearly missed by her son Robert (Wendy) of Monkland and her granddaughters Jennifer Caron (Steve Allen) of Kitchener and Kelly Gray (Dale Davy) of Napanee. Jane is predeceased by her husband Sam Gray (1979) and daughter Linda Caron of Lakefield (Feb 2017). She will also be fondly remembered by her great-granddaughters Wynne and Avery Allen.
