Obituary of James O’Hearn
O’HEARN, JAMES GARFIELD – 63, Prospect.
Hi Folks, if you’re reading this, it means I’ve moved on to greener pastures. Mom, thanks for giving me life. I’ll love you forever. I’ll say “Hi” to Dad when I see him. To my beautiful wife, who I love and respect with all my being and is the reason I survived as long as I did, you gave me two beautiful children, Jason and Laura who matured into two great adults. I’m very proud of both of you guys. Take care of your mother. To my daughter-in-law Claire, thank you for giving me my two-beautiful grand-kids, Evelyn and Matt – they capped off a great life. I love you two and wish I could have spent more time with you.
Special thanks to my Hematologist, Dr. Darrell White, nurse, Sandra, all the nurses in the MDU of the V.G. Hospital and my family doctor, Harris Crooks. Last but not least, a special thanks to Fred, Greg, Gary C., cousin/brother Dan for being there, it means a lot.
Finally, I tried to piss off as many as I could. For those I missed, I’ll be back.
Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. In keeping with Jim’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 15 at 10 AM in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 3709 Prospect Road, Shad Bay. A reception will follow at the White’s Lake Legion. In lieu of flowers, hug a Dad, relax and have a drink. If you’d like to do more, donate blood or platelets.
