RHYNOLD, JAMES LEWIS “BUD” of Little Dover, Guys.
Co., Age 77 years. It is with heavy hearts that we announce
the passing of Bud Rhynold on Friday, March 3, 2017 in Eastern
Memorial Hospital, Canso surrounded by loving family. Born on February
26, 1940 in Little Dover, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late
Arthur and Edna (Bouchie) Rhynold. Bud was a retired
fisherman.
He loved spending time with family and friends, playing
cards, marbles, and doing crossword puzzles, looking in the mirror and
making people laugh.
Bud is survived by his long time companion, Sophie Marie
Horne (Doucet); stepsons, Kevin (Tammy), Queensport; Nathan (Diana),
Sambro; Timmy, Canso; and Mark (Cheryl), Sambro; stepdaughter,
Claudette, Hazel Hill; many step-grandchildren and step-great grand
children; brothers, Melvin (Sheila), Canso; Greg (Jenny), Little
Dover; sisters, Faustina, Pearl (Jimmy), all from Little Dover; and
Mary, Lake Charlotte; many nieces and nephews. Bud was
predeceased by brothers, Herb and Paul, sisters, Agatha
“Sis” and Winnifred; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Gray, Robert
Horne and Ronald Boudreau, nephew, Rudy Horne.
Family flowers only please. Visitation to be held on Tuesday,
March 7 from 2-9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso.
Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, March 8 at 11 a.m. in St. Agnes
Roman Catholic Church, Little Dover with Father Dan MacDonald
officiating. Burial to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Memorial
Donations in memory of Bud may be made to St. Agnes Building Fund or
Eastern Memorial Hospital Palliative Care. Words of comfort may be
