James “Jimmy” Wilson
1936-2017
James “Jimmy” Wilson, 80, of
Moncton, NB; passed away with his family at his side on
Friday, January 20, 2017 at K. E. Spencer Memorial Home. Born in
Moncton, he was the son of James Frederick and Edna Mildred
Wilson.
He was an adherent of Lewisville Baptist Church, Moncton. He
enjoyed walking, biking, cutting wood, he loved children and animals
especially dogs.
Jimmy was protector and big brother of the family, from
looking after his mother in 1983 until her passing, walking his
siblings in their younger years to school and even as an adult making
sure his family were safe and looked after.
Those who knew him loved him. We are blessed to have been
able to spend time with him. He will be forever missed, nor forgotten.
He is loved by his siblings Freda Colpitts
Magee (the late Ted) of Moncton, Dona Acourt (Bill) of Moncton, Fred
“Sonny” Wilson (Vera) of Winnipeg, Eva Pistone
(the late Lloyd) of Moncton, Melissa Young (Charles) of Moncton,
Phyllis Stewart (Arnie) of Toronto, Diane Hill (Jack) of Riverview,
and Brenda Buchanan (George) of Dartmouth; an uncle Billy Main of
Moncton and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends.
The Funeral Service will be held at
Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Monday,
January 23, 2017 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Gordon MacLeod
officiating.
Interment will be in Harcourt Cemetery in the
spring.
Donations in Jimmy’s memory made to the Moncton SPCA or to
the Canadian Diabetic Association would be appreciated by
his family.
